Walkie Talkies - Poolbeg Lighthouse

Tuesday Sept 8th, 9.30 am - 11.00am

Meet at The Shelly Banks Car Park. The walk to Poolbeg Lighthouse is a 3.5-kilometer round trip that usually takes about 40 to 60 minutes to complete.

Helpful Tips

Dress warmly: The path sticks out into the ocean, so it gets very windy and cold. Wear a good windproof jacket.
Wear good shoes: The ground is made of old, uneven granite blocks.
No facilities: There are no toilets, water fountains, or shops near the lighthouse.
