Love books? Love food? The Bookish Cooks is a new group for anyone who enjoys food writing, culinary memoirs, essays and pretty much anything that celebrates cooking and eating.

Think M.F.K. Fisher, Ruth Reichl, Laurie Colwin and Judith Jones— or your own favourite food writers, books and rabbit holes.

Our first meeting will be a relaxed get-to-know-you gathering.No reading required! Just come with ideas for books, essays, media or food-related activities you’d be curious to explore together.

We’ll share recommendations, see what interests the group and decide what we’d like to read or do for our next meeting.
