Walking Tour of the Irish National War Memorial Gardens

Wednesday, 27th May, 2pm.

Duration: 1 hour

Age Suitability: All Ages.  Guests welcome.

The War Memorial Gardens tour will bring visitors through the gardens designed by the renowned Architect Sir Edwin Lutyens.

The Gardens are one of the most famous memorial gardens in Europe. They are dedicated to the memory of the 49,400 Irish soldiers who died in the First World War (1914-1918). The name of each soldier is contained in the illustrated Harry Clarke manuscripts in the granite book rooms within the gardens (this will be opened for us to view).
