Join us for a beautiful springtime tour at the Botanical Gardens!

During this private tour at the National Botanical Gardens in Glasnevin, we'll learn about the folklore of Ireland's native plants, some strange, many familiar. We'll also hear some of the legends linked to plant lore that have branched across centuries.

After the tour, there's plenty to explore in the gardens or Glasnevin Cemetery which is next door. Bird nerds will want to have their phones charged and their bird apps updated, because there will be plenty of those to take in as well.

This tour takes place rain or shine, so have rain gear on or with you.

Cost: €5 cash, payable on the day

If you need to refuel after taking in the gardens, there's a cafe on site. Or, you can walk to the Little Washer on Glasnevin Hill, McMahon's at the Glasnevin Triangle, wander south to Phibsorough, or head east to Drumcondra by strolling through Griffith Park.

There is a parking lot accessed via Botanic Road. (Parking is not free.) If coming by bus, the E1, E2, 23 and 24 are your best bets.
