Come meet us at one of Dublin's traditional pubs for conversation and craic! Open to members and partners.
February we will be meeting at The Duke, 9 Duke St, Dublin 2, D02 NR76 on the second floor.
Situated on historic Duke Street a stone’s throw from the Dawson Street Luas stop, this old watering hole has been providing liquid refreshments and sustenance to the people of Dublin since 1822.
By 1845, the pub flourished due to its location across the street from the terminus for coaches originating in every town south of Carlow. The pub provided refreshment and lodging on its upper floors.
Writers including James Joyce, Oliver St. John Gogarty, George Bernard Shaw and others frequented the establishment, and this tradition continues.
