Walking Break in Tipperary

Please join the AWCD Hillwalking Group on a five day hillwalking break in Tipperary to explore the Galtee Mountains.

We have reserved four of the Aherlow House Hotel’s self-catering Scandinavian Lodges. Each lodge has three double bedrooms, so the reservation will accommodate 12 walkers, if each gets their own bedroom. The price for each lodge for the four nights is €627, or €209 per person. This does not include meals or a hiking guide.

Dates:  Monday – Friday, May 13th to 17th

Location:  Aherlow House Hotel

Price:  €209 for 4 nights accommodation based on single occupancy (rooms can also be shared)

Not included:

• Transportation to Tipperary, or to and from walks.  We will be arranging carpools.  Carpool members will be expected to split the cost of petrol for the trip.
• Meals
• Hiking Guide guide for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (expect to pay ~€120/day for a guide split between the group)
