Hillwalk - Vartry Reservoirs

AWCD Hike for 16 March 2023

Hello hikers!  Our AWCD Hike this week will take us around the Vartry Reservoirs.   

Date:  Thursday, 16 March 2023

Hike:  We’ll walk clockwise around the Upper and Lower Reservoirs, for a total of about 15 km.  Although long, it’s a flat, easy route, with lovely views across the reservoirs.

Meeting place:  Vartry carpark, just off the RT755 before Roundwood. 

Meeting time: 10:00

Hike time:  4 hours

Please bring:  1 liter water, lunch, snack, rain gear, hat and gloves
